Building Churches and Raising Leaders
What began as a small congregation in Yerevan has grown into one of the largest Evangelical church communities in the region. Through their ministry, thousands of people have come to faith in Christ, families have been restored, leaders have been equipped, and dozens of churches have been established throughout Armenia and abroad.
Today, Artur provides pastoral oversight and leadership to a network of churches and ministries across the United States, Europe,Armenia the Middle East, including communities in Germany, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Lebanon, Syria, and other nations.
Passionate about the next generation, Artur and Lusine have dedicated much of their lives to mentoring pastors, church leaders, and young ministers, helping them discover and fulfill God's call.
Mahanaim – School of Gifts and Calling
Artur is the founder and director of Mahanaim – School of Gifts and Calling, an international ministry training program designed to equip believers, pastors, and ministry leaders for effective service.
The school places a special emphasis on developing the fivefold ministry described in Ephesians 4:11—apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers—helping believers discover their calling and grow in spiritual maturity, leadership, and ministry effectiveness.
Through Mahanaim, thousands of students from Armenia, the United States, Europe, Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Georgia, and other countries have received biblical, practical, and leadership training. Many graduates now serve as pastors, missionaries, church leaders, teachers, and ministry workers in churches and mission fields around the world.
Author, Speaker, and Media Ministry
Artur is an international conference speaker, family seminar leader, media communicator, and author of several influential Christian books. His book Renewing the Mind explores the transformation of thinking and living through Christ, encouraging believers to develop a biblical worldview and a renewed way of life.
His book Family addresses traditional Middle Eastern family culture, examining both its strengths and challenges through the lens of Scripture. It highlights the importance of placing biblical values above cultural traditions and building marriages and families on God's design. The book has been translated into Russian, Arabic, and Farsi.
His book Sisters shares inspiring true stories of women who preserved their faith and families during Soviet persecution and helped raise a generation of pastors and Christian leaders. His book Titanic uses themes of life, pride, and salvation to communicate timeless spiritual truths.
Through books, television programs, conferences, leadership training, and social media, Artur continues to encourage people around the world to grow in faith, discover their God-given purpose, and live as effective representatives of Christ in their communities.
Family and Legacy
Artur and Lusine Simonyan have served together in ministry for more than 35 years, dedicating their lives to building churches, strengthening families, raising leaders, and helping people discover hope and purpose in Christ.
They are the parents of two daughters, Anna and Ester. Their beloved daughter Anna had a deep love for God and a special passion for serving children and families in Armenian villages. Her unexpected passing was a profound loss and a great shock to their family. Yet, their faith in Christ, the promise of salvation, the resurrection, and the hope of eternal life in Jesus Chirist have sustained them through grief and strengthened their commitment to serve others.
In Anna's memory, Lusine founded the Zoom Project, a charitable ministry dedicated to helping children and families in Armenian villages—continuing the work and compassion that were so close to Anna’s heart. Through this ministry, her legacy of faith, love, and service continues to impact lives and bring hope to those in need.
In recent years, Artur and Lusine founded Jesus Church in Venice, Florida, a growing church community dedicated to helping people encounter God, grow in their faith, and find a place of belonging.
Serving both English-speaking and Russian-speaking families, the church seeks to be a blessing to Venice and the surrounding communities through worship, discipleship, outreach, and practical care.
