Pastor Artur - old times

Pastor Artur Simonyan’s life is a story of God’s calling, grace, and transformation.

As a young man, he was living in Moscow and building a successful life. From the outside, everything seemed to be going well. But deep inside, God was preparing his heart for a new purpose.

One day, Pastor Artur felt the call of God in a powerful and personal way. In 1986, he made the life-changing decision to leave his old way of life behind and follow Jesus Christ. This marked the beginning of a new journey — a journey of faith, obedience, and complete dedication to God’s work.

He returned to Armenia, the country where he was born, and began a new life with Christ. From that moment, his life became devoted to preaching the Gospel, serving people, and building God’s church.

A Life Dedicated to God’s Work

For many years, Pastor Artur has faithfully served as a pastor, teacher, leader, and spiritual father to many. Together with his wife, Lusine Simonyan, he has pastored the Word of Life Evangelical Church in Armenia for more than 30 years.

What began as a small church community grew into one of Armenia’s largest evangelical churches, reaching thousands of people with the message of Jesus Christ.

Through years of faithful ministry, many lives have been changed, families restored, leaders raised, and churches established in Armenia and beyond.

Family, Legacy, and a Heart to Serve

Pastor Artur and Lusine Simonyan are blessed with two daughters, Anna Simonyan and Ester Simonyan.

Their beloved daughterAnna was a beautiful young woman with a gentle heart, deep love for God, and a sincere desire to help people. She loved doing good, serving others, and bringing kindness to those who needed encouragement and support.

Anna often visited Armenian villages, where she helped people with love, care, and compassion. Her heart for others became a beautiful example of faith in action.

After Anna went to be with the Lord, Lusine Simonyan created the Zoom Project in her memory — continuing the work that Anna loved so much. The foundation carries her legacy by serving people, supporting families, and bringing help to communities in need.

Through this project, Anna’s love, kindness, and heart for people continue to touch lives and bring hope.

Building the Church and Raising Leaders

Pastor Artur’s ministry has never been only about one church. His heart has always been to raise strong, faithful, and loving leaders who would carry the Gospel to others.

Over the years, he has helped train and mentor pastors, ministers, and servants of God who continue to preach Christ and serve communities in different parts of the world.

His ministry has impacted people across Armenia, Russia, Europe, the Middle East, and the United States — building churches, strengthening believers, and encouraging people to live with faith and purpose.

Word Of Life Church

Artur and Lusine Simonyan have been pastoring the Word of Life Evangelical Church in Armenia for 30 years. Through their devoted ministry, thousands of people have dedicated their lives to God, many broken lives have been restored, a large community of dedicated servants has been raised, and dozens of churches have been established in Armenia and abroad — in the Middle East, Europe, the Russian Federation, and the United States.

The number of members and attendees of the Yerevan church has reached approximately 10,000.

Jesus Church

Pastor Artur and Lusine Simonyan also started Jesus Church in Venice, Florida, a growing church community created to help people encounter God, grow in faith, and find a place of belonging.

The church serves the local community, including Russian-speaking and English-speaking families, and continues to become a blessing to Venice and the surrounding areas.

With a heart for people and a deep love for God, Pastor Artur continues to preach, teach, and lead with humility, wisdom, and faith.
